    Light Seers Tarot

The Light Seers Tarot is a popular deck for good reason. The strength of this deck is its ability to bring messages through in an accessible way that feels relevant to today. Even though it is a modern interpretation of the tarot, the messages still follow the Rider Waite interpretations fairly closely. For those approaching tarot for the first time, The Light Seers Tarot is a wonderful introduction. It easily connects you with the messages your subconscious is trying to share with you. I have quite an extensive collection of decks, but it is this one that drew my daughter in instantly. When I do readings, I offer my clients…

    Forest of Enchantment Tarot

When I opened the Forest of Enchantment Tarot I was instantly enchanted. From my first flip through I felt at home. I just wanted to wander through the forest and learn from the characters and creatures. This deck is stunning. The artist, Meraylah Allwood, is truly amazing. Each original painting is said to be only slightly larger than the tarot cards themselves. When you consider the detail on each card this is incredible. Some decks become too busy when the paintings are reduced to card size but that isn’t the case with this one. I cannot speak highly enough of the artwork. The book opens with a quote from Joseph…

    The Moon Oracle

The Moon Oracle was one of the first decks I bought. I have never been big into astrology, (probably because astrology charts always ask for your time of birth and I have no idea and no-one to ask), so I can’t tell you why it drew me in at the time. But it did. Yet this deck has sat, wrapped in a scarf, firstly in a cupboard and then on my book shelf for years without attracting my attention in the slightest. Why? That I can’t tell you either. Fortunately, the other day when I was selecting my decks for my daily card draws I reached for it. I’m so…

  • A tarot card titled Ace of Wands from the Druid Craft Tarot is shown beneath the words Deck Review. The card depicts a wand sprouting leaves, held upright against a bright sun, with a stag on a rocky cliff and trees in the background.

    DruidCraft Tarot

The DruidCraft Tarot deck is one of my go to decks because I love the rich imagery. Each card invites you to enter the scene. The authors were inspired by the tales of the bards and this deck definitely invites you to tune into your own story-telling potentials. The DruidCraft Tarot Cards I love the DruidCraft Tarot. It pretty much lives on my desk in its wooden box. It shuffles easily now that I have trimmed the cards. But I also trimmed it because personally I prefer borderless decks. For comparison, the original deck measured just over 14cm x 9cm – with the borders trimmed it’s now approximately 12½ cm…
