If you’re looking for a tarot book that takes you through the basics and then way past them, then Tarosophy is well worth considering. I had moments whilst reading it that I thought ‘really’ but for the most part it inspired me to reach for my cards and to dig deeper and deeper and deeper still. The Tarot of Trees
The Tarot of Trees is promoted as an “80-card colourful and whimsical tarot deck that features classical tarot symbolism through the theme of trees.” And, that it is. But to me, it is best described as a hug deck. I find it calming. Oriens Animal Tarot
This animal themed deck is completely different to any of the others I own – and I own a few. Without including oracle decks seven come to mind, (Animals Divine Tarot, Animal Totem Tarot, Animal Wisdom Tarot, Ark Animal Tarot, Black Cats Tarot, Crow Tarot and Spiritsong Tarot). Largely because the animals are presented in celestial settings, the Oriens Animal Tarot is much darker in colouring for one. I’ve heard some people say the combination makes the animals hard to see.
